Volvo Code 400A EVAP Canister Purge Valve

2007-volvo-evap-valve

My vehicle is a Volvo V50 2.4L petrol, 2004-2010 model. I have read the diagnostic and report shows fault:
400A, Canister purge valve, circuit fault, permanent
I am having a hard time locating the canister purge valve in the bonnet/ under the hood. Should I replace with new part or could it be a hose which is bent or damaged. First issue is locating, i have looked online and cant seem to find a video or layout. Thank you for the service, best regards. James
