I wish to prevent the side of my car from getting dinged from someone opening their car door. It is a 2005 Honda Civic. Wouldn’t there door hit my car door handles first? Isn’t that the widest part of the car or what?
The widest part of your car isn’t always the part that gets hit. A large truck parks next to your car. The bottom of the truck door is higher than the door handle of your car. Yep. The bottom of the truck door can still hit the top portion of your car door. I think you get the picture.
