I brought A new passenger rear view mirror and it wont plug all the way in. I’ve tried different ways. What am I doing wrong?
HOW TO REPLACE MIRROR
REMOVAL
Warning: Put on gloves to protect your hands.
When prying with a flat tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around related components, to prevent damage.
Take care not to scratch body surface.
- Remove front door quadrant inner cover, using a screwdriver or remover.
- Disconnect outside rear view mirror connector (B), Fig. 1.
- Remove mounting bolts, then remove outside rear view mirror (A), Fig. 1.
INSTALLATION
Reverse removal procedure to install.
Ensure connector is connected properly.
Replace any damaged retainers.
