My vehicle has a trouble code, P0456, very small emissions leak. I already tried replacing gas cap, without success. How would I go about fixing this issue?
Examine the components for a leak and in a hoses.
How the shop does it
You hook up a smoke machine to the system. Either at the EVAP port under the hood or by venting it into the fuel tank. You watch to see where the smoke is coming from and make the needed repairs. Here is the kind on smoke machine I am talking about.
