My clutch went soft and i couldn’t change gear. I got towed home but the day after clutch worked and can now change gear but i know there is something wrong. It is a Peugeot 307 2006
The clutch master and slave cylinders are probably in need of replacement. It would also be recommended to replace the clutch disc assembly at the same time so everything is new. If this occurs again before you have repairs made there is a quick test. Turn the engine off and see if you can change gears. This may keep you from having to get towed. Also, you can try pumping the clutch pedal a couple times before shifting. This should at least get you home or to the shop to have the repairs made.
