I have a lot of trouble with my car battery in the winter months. I need to either charge or boost a lot. Yes, it does sit for long periods of time. Is there a certain battery that I can get that will help with this problem. Or should I just be starting her up a lot more often? Thank you for your help. It is a 2018 KIA Forte Ex
I would recommend installing a battery maintainer. These are quite affordable and can be attached and disconnected quickly. They are fully automatic and will keep you battery at peak charge. So when you are ready to go your battery will be too. This particular battery maintainer has a built in battery desulfator with temperature compensation. Will also extend the life of your battery.
*Note that anytime you jump start the vehicle you are shortening the life of the battery.
