Location of DRAC-VSSB 2002 Chevrolet Camaro 3.8

2002 Chevrolet Camaro 3.8

DRAC – VSSB Module

DRAC and VSSB modules are primarily applicable 1989-1995 TBI Gas and 1990-2002 Diesel applications. On this particular vehicle I think we are looking for a VSS – Vehicle Speed Sensor. I looked this one up for you to make sure it will fit your exact vehicle.

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR REPLACEMENT

  1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove righthand muffler.
  2. Disconnect vehicle speed sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove mounting bolt and vehicle speed sensor from rear axle differential case by lifting up and out of hole.
  4. Reverse procedure to install.

  1. Thank you trying to find me an answer! I replaced speed sensor (VSS) last Summer. I removed BCC & ECM looking for VSSB. The test for a VSS is to hook it to a multi meter on AC volts and wave it over your keys. I asked for location of VSSB. VSS reads OK from under running car. I tried to look over wires.
