How to Replace Intake Manifold 2011 chrysler 300c 5.7 hemi

Replace Intake Manifold

REMOVAL

  1. Remove engine cover.
  2. Relieve fuel system pressure as outlined under “Precautions.”
  3. Remove air inlet hose.
  4. Remove ignition wires from on top of intake manifold.
  5. Disconnect Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, fuel injectors and Electric Throttle Control (ETC) electrical connectors.
  6. Remove wire harness from intake manifold.
  7. Disconnect brake booster, purge and Make Up Air (MUA) hoses.
  8. Remove EGR tube from intake manifold.
  9. Remove intake manifold mounting bolts in crisscross pattern starting from outside bolts and ending at middle bolts.
  10. Remove intake manifold.
  11. Reverse procedure to install.
