How to Install LED Fog Lights on Chevy Silverado

FRONT FOG LAMP BULB, REPLACE

Refer to Fig. 1 for exploded view of fog lamp.

Caution: Halogen bulbs contain gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause it to shatter into flying glass fragments.
Caution: To help avoid personal injury: Turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing the bulb.
Caution: Leave the lamp switch OFF until the bulb change is complete.
Caution: Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb.
Caution: Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass.
Caution: Keep dirt and moisture off the bulb.
Caution: Properly dispose of the used bulb.
Caution: Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children.

1. Remove electrical connector, Fig. 1(see below).
2. Remove bulb from rear fog lamp assembly by twisting bulb counterclockwise and pulling bulb out.
3. Reverse procedure to install.

REAR FOG LAMP BULB, REPLACE

1. Remove rear fog lamp lens (1) retaining screws (2), Fig. 2.
2. Remove bulb from rear fog lamp assembly by twisting bulb counterclockwise and pulling bulb out.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
