Transfer Case Fluid Change Service on 2006 Chevy Silverado

TRANSFER CASE FLUID DRAIN & REFILL

1. Park vehicle on level ground, and turn ignition switch to LOCK.
2. Remove filler plug and sealing washer.
3. Remove drain plug and sealing washer, and drain oil.
4. Install drain plug with a new sealing washer.
5. Fill recommended oil until it reaches bottom of filler plug hole.
6. Install filler plug with a new sealing washer.

• Transfer Case Drain Plug Torque: 15 ft-lbs
• Transfer Case Fluid Capacity: 2 Quarts
