Removal

1. Remove bolt attaching bumper to frame rail.
2. On models equipped with tow hooks, remove Torx® bolts that attach tow hook (3) to bumper (2), and remove tow hooks, Fig. 1.
3. On models equipped with rear fog lamps, disconnect rear fog lamp harness electrical connector.
4. Remove nuts attaching bumper to rear frame crossmember.
5. Remove bumper from vehicle.

Installation

1. Position bumper on vehicle.
2. Install nuts attaching bumper to rear frame crossmember and torque to 57 ft. lbs.
3. On models equipped with tow hooks, position tow hook on bumper, install Torx® bolts that attach tow hook to bumper and torque to 80 ft. lbs.
4. Install bolt attaching bumper to frame rail and torque to 57 ft. lbs.
5. On models equipped with rear fog lamps, connect rear fog lamp harness electrical connector.
