2000 Plymouth Voyager 3.0 L with Distributor

The van was being driven at highway speeds when it suddenly stopped. There was fuel in it and the fuel pump operation was verified. The coil wire was removed, engine cranked over, no spark. Coil wire was tested and had 7100 ohms. Replaced the coil still no spark. what now?

  1. First check the ECM fuse. if thats OK, move to checking for ignition spark(you said you have none) and injector pulse. If it has injector pulse, then most likely a bad ignition module.

    If it has neither,
This can be caused by a failed crank sensor, or bad ECM.(computer).

These are the most common. It could be a bad wire, loose connection, etc. but these are not as common .
