The dashboard lights started flashing on and off and it is also noticeable with the headlight. I tried pushing in the button next to the odometer to reset. Four hours later I drove it and it seemed fine. This morning its doing it again and the battery light has came on. Any suggestions?
Generally when the battery light illuminates on the dash it means the alternator is no longer charging and the engine continues to run directly off the battery.
Make sure the alternator belt is intact and then check the alternator.
How to Test an Alternator
If the alternator is not charging, replace it.
