“my ford freestars engine light is on. I had the clips on the IMRC rod replaced a few weeks ago but it looks like the rod (maybe RODS?) has become disconnected again. Is it dangerous to drive the car in this condition. ’05 freestar, 160000 miles”

First thing that should be done is to have the check engine light codes read. Post the codes below and i can help you further. If the check engine light is flashing, it is best not to drive it. Not flashing, should be fine to drive.
