2010 Chevy Camaro under water in flood won’t start

2010 chevy camaro

I got stuck in a flash flood last night, car stalled out and wouldn’t start. I left it overnight to dry out and it still won’t start. Air filter was wet so I’m assuming water went in my intake and possibly my motor causing it to hydrolock. is there any way to fix this or is my engine done.

Check your engine oil to see if it has water in the oil. The level will be high on the stick. You will need to change the oil for starters. Six quarts of oil and you can be certain. If you suspect water in the intake, you can remove the spark plugs and turn the engine over to move the water out. Then you may need to let all the electronics dry out and then charge and or replace the battery. If you can get the vehicle in a heated garage for a few hours would help.
