I have a Kenwood Stereo and after I added new speakers the display comes on and flashes “PROTECT” . How do I fix this?
You will need to press the “RESET” button after you fix the short in the speaker wiring which is why it is in PROTECT Mode. The reset button on non-removable face plates is just below the volume knob and Behind the face plate on removable styles. You will need a pin or tooth pic to press in the tiny black button. Then your good to go. If it still flashes after pressing the reset button, then you need to re-check your wiring again for a short.
