98 chevy blazer 4×4 bogged out an died

i got a 98 chevy s1 blazer 4×4 4.3L V6 and while i was driving when i would give it more gas it would start bogging down like it wasnt getting any gas to the egine then it drove fine for a few more blocks and started doing it again and then it died. Fuel pump maybe?

It is possible that it is a fuel pump or could be a MAF Sensor: http://www.freeautomechanic.com/maf-mass-air-flow-sensor.html
Best thing to do would be to have the codes checked and have the fuel pressure tested.
