2005 Chev Uplander. The rear wiper doesn’t work, but washer fluid comes out when activated.
Would that be the motor or the switch? How to test each one?
Using the wiring diagram provided you can see the rear wiper motor and the rear washer fluid pump utilize two different relays and separate fuses. Both relays are good since the rear washer fluid pump is working. The next thing to check would be the RR WPR Fuse 3 as it provides power to the rear wiper motor as it waits for a signal from the Multifunction Switch to operate.
In most cases I would blame the multifunction switch. But you can use a multi-meter to check the voltages at the motor and determine the outcome.

How to replace the multifunction switch
- Remove steering column trim covers.
- Disconnect multi-function switch electrical connectors.
- Remove wiring harness strap from steering column wiring harness.
- Remove switch attaching screws and switch.
- Reverse procedure to install.
I had it fixed. It WAS the motor
Thanks
